Since im not on social media for lent, I’m going to use my blog for some accountability! All of my “cross training” workouts are on the Nike Training Club (NTC) app. I love it, it’s free and has workouts for all levels. I use Map my Run (MMR) for my runs. I restarted a 5k plan on Map My Run so I could get better endurance.
Thursday 3/14/19 – Run/Walk Intervals on MMR. It was a planned 1.61 miles with a duration of 23 min 50 sec. Jogging 2x @3 min. I did 1.77 miles, duration of 25:04, and a 14:07 mm. 🏃🏼♀️
Friday 3/15/19 – I decided I wanted t start one of NTC’s “collections”. Basically its a group of their workouts to help you eith a final goal. I chose 6 week guide to get lean. Its 24 Intermediate workouts, only requiring basic equipment. My first one was controlled blast. It was a long 45 min, but I felt the burn! 💪🏻
Saturday 3/16/19 – This was a rough run/walk interval session. We went to a fish fry Friday night at family’s house and I had a little headache that I just couldn’t kick but I got the damn thing done! We cleaned out our flowerbeds and got some new flowers on this day too! Spring is coming! 💐
